Farming

Bramall companies own approximately 7,300 acres of arable land between two locations in South and North Lincolnshire, all of which is farmed in-hand bar a small acreage let under license. Management is focussed on farming profitably on a sustainable basis by utilising modern practices and controlling costs. The introduction of the Agriculture Act 2020 will increase the ecological, environmental and amenity value of the land for future generations.

Currently on some of the Southern land there is an option for a solar development of approximately 400mw which is hoped will provide clean energy for 100,000 homes and reduce carbon emissions by over 70,000 tonnes per year.

Some of the Northern land may be given over to an eight-turbine wind farm development which is in the early stages of consideration.
